{Living the Dream Workshop}

This past week I had the opportunity to attend the "Living the Dream" workshop, hosted by Kimberly Wylie and Laura Novak. (Can I say, some of the most talented photographers I know of!) I flew into Denver on Monday. I was a little nervous, since I've never traveled alone. I was even more nervous when I heard that the Denver Aiport had "trains" you had to catch to get around the airport.

But, everything went well. I found the train, I got my luggage and when I walked out the door... there was my shuttle waiting for me! Everything was perfect. And, I didn't even throw up on the plane... does it get better than that?

We stayed at the Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver. Can I say, it was AMAZING!!! It was built in the 1800's. It was the neatest hotel I've ever been in. I compare it to the Tower of Terror Hotel at Disneyland. haha. It was that cool. The help wore tuxedos and hats. It was awesome.

We spent 2.5 intense days learning about marketing and the business end of the photography business. We also got to watch Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall do a newborn shoot. So exciting!

I met some amazing people! Friends for life. It was a perfect week. Thanks to my hubby and my sister-in-law Mary Ann for watching my kiddos and making it possible for me to go to this. I appreciate all your support! xoxoxo

View from my room. Downtown Denver.

I loved the furniture in this place! Soooo classy!

The photo shoot with Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall, and a very cute baby!

More of the room.

The cute bathroom! ;)

And, the wonderful bed!!! Ahhhhh, good sleeping!

And, a horrible picture of all 3 of us! We stayed up until 2:00 in the morning talking the night before. Three Tired Chicks!!! Rashell Scott and Kara Seelye.

Thanks girls for a fun week! So glad we met and I'm looking forward to the years of friendship ahead of us!
